Before having Ryan, I had really romantic notions of being a stay at home mom. One of those notions included having time. I can't believe how much I'm struggling to get things accomplished.
I want to be a fantastic, on-top of everything stay at home mom, but I'm really horrible at it. I think I do the Ryan part pretty good. When Ryan is awake, we are together. I feel like he's still to little to give him extended time to play by himself. I'll leave him in his crib while I put on a load of laundry, but that's about it. If I can't do something with Ryan with me, I don't do it. When Ryan takes a nap, I have somewhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours to accomplish things. Usually, nap time is eaten up with dishes, and some tidying up. Ryan goes to sleep for the night at 11:00, so I have one to two hours, but then I do the dishes again, and do some internetting, and then its time for me to go to sleep.
But, I really, really want to keep up with my blog, and my share site, and Ryan's baby book. I've added another huge penpal project to the mix, and of course, I have huge ideas for how to organize the letters from our penpal project.
I feel like a bad mom. My share site went from uploads every week to uploads every month. I keep putting off my penpal writing, because I'm tired. And well, I won't even talk about this blog.
We're going home soon, and I'm hoping that I might find a little time, with so many people wanting to be with Ryan, that I can reorganize my brain so that I can get back to my blog.
Hopefully, I'll be posting more in July!
